COURSE STRUCTURE

The course structure, over a period of THREE(3) modules, is as follows:

  • The taught units are divided into a set of core courses and a set of elective courses. The courses are examined by practical work and, in most cases, a formal examination.
  • The project specification and design will commence in Module 2. The dissertation should be submitted by the end of Module 3. Projects can be either software projects or research projects.
  • The course will be conducted on campus.
  • Classes will be conducted in weekdays and weekends.

CORE COURSE

The core courses are mainly studied in the first two trimesters. At the end of this part of the course, the student will be able to approach large-scale software design in a professional manner. Core courses are compulsory.
